artist statement

I create jewelry for the modern woman, who is confident, and expresses her confidence in the jewelry she wears. Jewelry that is never trendy, but modern and iconic.

New or classic forms with unusual combination's of materials or conversely traditional materials, from many cultures, used in a modern minimalist expression. Ancient jewelry forms reinterpreted.

Clarity of form is important, "less is more". Texture is almost as important as form, and Color makes the world go 'round....

I use only the finest materials available. Sterling or fine Thai silver , or vermeil, combined with  semi- precious stones, Venetian lamp work, art or vintage glass, trade beads or other natural materials. I strive to make each work unique and original. Most designs are one of a kind items, or very limited numbers of a design. Each piece is handcrafted completely by me.
